What is Academic and Career Planning

An ongoing process to actively engage students to:

  • develop an understanding of his or her self
  • create a vision of his or her future
  • develop individual goals
  • prepare a personal plan for achieving the vision and goals

 

A product that documents and reflects students’:

  • coursework, learning and assessment results
  • post-secondary plans aligned to career goals & financial reality

Career Cruising is an interactive career exploration and planning website which includes career assessments as well as information about occupations, colleges and employers. 

Parents and Guardians will have access to their child's Career Cruising account in January 2018. Parents can see student interest and skill survey results, careers and schools of interest.  Parents can comment on student selections, but cannot change them. 

We will post parent access information on this web page, on our Facebook page and via School Messenger.
