📢🌪️ April 8-12th is Wisconsin's Severe Weather Awareness Week. 4th Grade students were able to learn about severe weather as well as other emergencies, safety, and preparation in the event an emergency or disaster occurs. They also were able to start an emergency kit. This was all completed through the STEPS (Student Tools For Emergency Planning) program which was created by FEMA.

🐄This last Saturday, members of the FFA competed in the Career Development Event at UWRF. We had teams competing in Ag Mechanics, Vet Science, Livestock Evaluation, Milk Product Evaluation, and Wildlife. A couple highlights include Dylan Jereczek placing 15th out of 86 contestants in livestock evaluation and Eddie Weinzirl placing 10th out 72 contestants in Wildlife. 🎉

Two students from each grade level were chosen for the Star Student award because throughout the month they consistently upheld our expectations of school safety, respect, responsibility, and kindness.
The Specials Classes of the Month were chosen for various reasons such as improvement in positive behavior and listening skills, respectful partner work, kindness, responsibility, and effort.
