Last Wednesday, the High School Symphonic Band had the opportunity to play for the entire elementary school! Afterwards, the 5th grade students were able to meet with the high schoolers, ask questions about their instruments, and try out any instruments they were interested in playing next year! Thank you to Mr. Semingson, Ms. Witucki, and the entire 5th grade teaching staff for helping organize this event and letting the 5th grade students try out instruments. #DASD

🫀🫁The 2nd graders in Mrs. Campbell's and Mrs. Ebling's classes celebrated all the knowledge they gained during their Human Body and Nutrition unit! First, the 2nd graders had to work together to put together the puzzle that is the human body. Then, they were challenged to sort play food (thanks Jr. K and K for sharing with us!) into the main nutrient groups. Last, they acted like Anton Van Leeuwenhoek and used magnifying glasses to discover hidden and shrunken vocabulary words. 🔍
🎉We are proud of you, 2nd graders, for all the teamwork and knowledge you applied!
