Durand-Arkansaw Middle School Parents and Athletes:
Durand-Arkansaw High School will be hosting our 23-24 Athletic Code Meeting in the High School Gym on Thursday, July 27th at 7:00 pm. This meeting is targeted towards High School athletes and families, but Middle School families and athletes are welcome to attend. This event will also be a great opportunity to fill out all necessary athletic paperwork for the year.

📣📣📣 Durand-Arkansaw Middle & High School has an opening for the 2023-24 school year for a paraprofessional responsible for assisting students primarily in the Durand-Arkansaw Middle & High School Library, along with some other supervision areas. This position is a shared position with approximately 37.5 hours every two weeks. This is a great way to promote literacy, be in an environment with students, and make a difference!
Responsibilities for this position:
● Supervision of the Middle & High School Library.
● Communicating with students, staff and public patrons.
● Check-in/check-out of library materials including loaning out chromebooks.
● Support for distance learning courses including some supervision of virtual
Spanish classes.
● Support for other educational programming needs including DEAR for the middle
school students.
Skills necessary for applicants:
● Basic computer skills.
● Ability to switch/adapt between tasks during the day.
● Strong communications skills.
● Strong people skills.
● Passion for reading, learning, and impacting the lives of young adults.

Special Education Paraprofessional
The Durand-Arkansaw School District is hiring paraprofessional positions for the 2023-24 school year. The following positions, along with a brief description of the duties, are available:
* Caddie Woodlawn Elementary School Paraprofessional, full-time Monday-Friday approximately 7:45-3:30. Primary duties include working with a student with learning and functional needs in individual, small group, and whole classroom settings.
* Transportation Paraprofessional, part-time, Monday-Friday approximately 8:00-10:00. Primary duties include providing transportation using a district-owned vehicle to or from off-site programming for one or two students.
