Mrs Hurtgen's class ended our community unit by making our town!
Congratulations to the Durand-Arkansaw Esports team on completing their winter season! The team competed in both Fortnite and Rocket League this year, with the Fortnite team of Reid Ackerman, Logan Carmody, Michael Loverude, and Cowen Christy taking fourth in their division. This team will be representing the Durand-Arkansaw school district in the State competition on Wednesday March 15th at 4:15pm available to be streamed on the WIHSEA's TWITCH account (Twitch.tv/wihsea).
The Rocket League team of Jaden Kadlec, Josh Wulff, Gavin Bauer, Clay Steele, and Michael Loverude had a successful and extremely competitive season.
Congratulations to our second Fortnite team that took 9th place in the division featuring Orion Hendricks, Lanton Wahlborg, Raymond Persons, and Clay Steele. #DurandPanthers

During a virtual day the students created a card filling it with kind words about their classmates! They got to share them during morning meeting with the class. They did such a wonderful job reading in front of the class.

The Durand-Arkansaw School District is hiring a full-time paraprofessional for the remainder of the 2022-23 school year and beyond. This position will be at Caddie Woodlawn Elementary School Mondays through Fridays with approximate hours of 7:45-3:30.
The primary responsibility of this position includes working with 1:1 with a student in individual, small group, and whole classroom settings and monitoring students while at recess, lunch, and/or bus routines.
