🌻💜Mrs. Langreck's class has been learning all about the parts of a plant, there functions and the life cycle of a plant. To reinforce this learning they got to do a science experiment with celery and food coloring to observe how water travels through a plant, they got to plant their own green houses to observe a bean grow and they got to create sunflowers and label the parts of a plant. 💜🌻

How to Catch a Leprechaun: Caddie Edition! Mrs. Rosemeyer's class and Mrs. Erickson's class worked together to create some pretty fun traps! Who will be lucky enough to catch a leprechaun? #DASD
Kindergartners in Mrs. Rosemeyer's class learned that more than teachers work at a school. They visited the cooks in the kitchen just in time to see the food truck drivers and Janitor Darrell unloading all the food.
The students took a walk to see the District Office. They especially enjoyed the meeting rooms!

The 5th graders have recently been studying the number Pi! On March 14th, Pi day, the students celebrated properly by enjoying some delicious pie! 🥧
🌞💖🌞Caddie Woodlawn Elementary School proudly nominates Darrell Hinrichs for the Sunshine Award! Over the course of 42 years, he has played a vital role in our school community. While officially serving in janitorial services, Darrell’s impact extends beyond his cleaning duties. His interactions with students showcase extraordinary patience and he has a remarkable ability to connect with children. Darrell acknowledges growth in students and demonstrates genuine care for their well-being. Mr. Darrell is cherished by all our students and staff, who consider him an integral part of our school family. His infectious smile and warm-hearted nature truly brings sunshine to Caddie Woodlawn Elementary School. We all love and adore Mr. Darrell. 🌞💖🌞
