Durand-Arkansaw School District Health Assistant The Durand-Arkansaw School District is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as Health Room Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the well-being of our students. The position has a start date of January 3, 2024. Hours are 7:45-3:30 Monday-Friday. Job duties include: • Provide basic first aid to students when needed  •Administer medication to students under the direction of the School Nurse  •Maintain accurate records of student health-related information  •Assist in the management of the school’s health room and supplies  •Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff regarding student health concerns • Follow established health and safety protocols. • This position will also be responsible for clerical duties including scheduling special education team meetings. •The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain it), strong organizational skills, and compassion and patience with dealing with students. 🍎 Well, it seems Mrs. Schade and her first-grade team really knew how to add some enchantment to Halloween! They went all out and transformed into Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, proving that teaching is no fairy tale... but it sure can be magical! 🍎

Last week, we honored statebound cross country runners Zayne Richardson and Connor Davidson with a state send-off. Zayne and Connor both ran well at state this past weekend. We are super proud of them!

Mrs. Schade's class had a spooktacular Halloween! They enjoyed painting pumpkins, delivering treat bags, and showing off their costumes!
